Jewelery appraisal

Hello, all.
Does anyone know a reputable jewelery appraiser in the San Francisco Bay area? This is for contemporary jewelery not antiques. My sister wants to sell some things.

Thanks in advance!
They have already reached their primary goal, but the stretch goals are awesome. Looks like a wonderful project.

Hey, you fans of Spider Robinson's Callahan stories (as well as other Tesla fans)--got a few spare dollars?

Cat Faber's new album available.

_The King's Lute_, is up at Cat's Bandcamp page, catfaber.bandcamp.com (no www)for purchase as downloads or as the CD (with downloads for instant gratification, since it will take a few days for the CD to arrive on your doorstep.)She says it will also be available on CD Baby soon. The songs I've heard so far are great!

Call to atheists and the non-religious

This was posted on the Facebook page of a friend who is a professor at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. I thought some of you might be interested:

Are you an atheist or non-religious person who's willing to talk about it? Jesuit School of Theology-Santa Clara Univeristy sociologist Jerome Baggett is looking for people to be interviewed for a scholarly (but fun to participate in!) study of atheism in the US. Interviews take only about an hour, and can be done by phone or in person. To participate, or to find out more, contact Jerome at (510-549-5060) or e-mail him at jbaggett@jstb.edu.
This project is role playing game that is a tool for teachers, students and parents to encourage learning. It looks awesome, and I'm a backer:
